The Robbie Fruean-inspired Crusaders held off a spirited New South Waratahs in Sydney yesterday winning 37-33 to retain 6th place in the overall Super rugby standings.
The 7-times champions led 14-13 at halftime, and scored 4 tries to 3, two of them to their human wrecking ball Robbie Freuan who also set up a third try.
The fullback, Israel Dagg says the Waratahs put them under a lot of pressure and were in the match until the final minute, but says they dug deep and took their opportunities, none more so than Freuan.
