Time for younger Magic players to make their mark

The Silver Ferns defender Leana de Bruin says it's time the younger players in the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic make the most of their opportunities in the trans-Tasman netball competition.

The Magic have had a poor start to the season with four losses from four games.

Expectations have always been high on the side that boasts four Silver Fern's including veteran Irene van Dyke, captain Casey Williams, and centre court stalwart Laura Langman.

de Bruin says it can't all fall on the shoulders of the senior players and the younger players need to make the most of any time they get on court.

The Magic play the Canterbury Tactix tonight in Rotorua at 7.40.
