The Chiefs and All Blacks centre Richard Kahui is a relieved man following the news that Wayne Smith has decided against taking up a coaching position with England.

The former All Blacks coach has rejected a role with England, saying he wants to stay in New Zealand because of family reasons and also to continue his role with the Chiefs.

Speaking before Tuesday morning's announcement, Kahui says Smith has done wonders for his game and Smith's imput into his game has been massive.
