The Wallaby great Michael Lynagh has been released from a Brisbane Hospital, just over two weeks after suffering a stroke.
The 48-year-old had been in a critical condition after suffering a stroke and spent six days in intensive care before stabilising.
The World Cup-winning Wallaby has recovered well enough to address the media today.
Lynagh tweeted that he has a long way to go, but this is a big step in the right direction.
Lynagh, who is based in Britain and was in Brisbane on a visit when he fell ill, won 72 caps for Australia in the 1980s and 1990s as well as having a distinguished state career for Queensland.
He was part of Australia's Grand Slam-winning team in 1984 and a key player in the Wallabies' 1991 World Cup win.
