AFL bows to glamour racehorse

The AFL has acknowledged the popularity of Australia's glamour racehorse Black Caviar by changing the start time of the Adelaide Crows-Geelong match in the South Australian capital on Saturday week.

Kickoff for the Australian rules match has been brought forward 30 minutes, and Black Caviar's race has been put back half an hour to give the footie fans an hour after their game to get to the race track.

There was a sell-out 30,000 crowd on course at the Morphettville track last Saturday to see the five year-old mare extend her career unbeaten run to 20 races.

Black Caviar will travel to England next month to race at the Royal Ascot meeting.
