The utility back Jerome Ropati is set to become the second longest serving Warrior in history after signing a new one-year contract for the 2013 National Rugby League season.
A veteran of 137 NRL games and 11 tests for the Kiwis, Ropati will draw level with Awen Guttenbeil as an 11-season Warrior.
Club legend Stacey Jones is the longest serving with 12 seasons under his belt.
After a knee injury ruled him out of last year's campaign Ropati has just started to return to his former best, and he's confident his form this year and next will warrant a further extension.
The 27-year-old says he wants to finish his career at the club and concedes he would have preferred a longer contract than the one-year deal.
