Nadal beats Djokovic in Rome final

Rafa Nadal toppled the world number one Novak Djokovic 7-5 6-3 in their rain delayed Rome Masters tennis final, giving him a record sixth title in Rome and the perfect lead-in to the French Open.

Nadal's victory means he'll regain his number two spot in the world rankings, so he'll definitely be in the opposite half of the draw at Roland Garros where he'll be bidding for a seventh title.

If Djokovic wins the French Open, he'll have achieved the rare distinction of holding all four major championships concurrently.
