The All Blacks captain Richie McCaw is confident veteran hooker Keven Mealamu will be available for next month's tests against Ireland.
Mealamu has been plagued by a calf injury for most of the Super Rugby season and last played for the Blues almost six weeks ago.
However he packed down in some mini-scrums and was involved in training at North Harbour Stadium today, the last day of the All Blacks first training camp in Auckland.
McCaw says Mealamu should be raring to go for the three-test series against the Irish.
