Lille's Belgian international playmaker Eden Hazard has signed with Champions League winners Chelsea in preference to Premier League champions Manchester City and runners-up Manchester United.
Hazard has signed a five year contract reportedly worth $70 million.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Petr Cech signed a new four-year deal with Chelsea.
The Czech Republic international, who joined the club in 2004, has already played more games for Chelsea than any overseas player and has won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two Carling Cups.
