The New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell will be hoping playing alongside American Olin Browne will help him at the US Open in San Francisco next week.
The two have been paired together for the first two rounds at the Olympic Club. They played alongside each other in the final round when Campbell won the Open in 2005.
Meanwhile Danny Lee is tied for 18th after the first round of the St. Jude Classic in Memphis. The winner qualifies for next week's Open.
