Braid backs North-South game

The concept of a North-South rugby match has got the full backing from the players following yesterday's 32-24 win by the South in Dunedin.

There was certainly plenty of aggression in the match with 4 players cited following a brawl on the sideline.

The South coach Tony Gilbert believes the All Blacks not involved in the matchday 22 should in future get a run in the game.

The North loosie, Luke Braid says with a 3 week break in Super Rugby, this match certainly helps to keep players in match form.

Meanwhile the four players cited are Brendan Leonard, Dane Coles, Kendrick Lynn and Filo Paulo.
