Manchester United has signed the England under-18 football international Nick Powell from Crewe.
The 18-year-old, who had also been targeted by Everton, has passed a medical and will join the club at the start of next month on a four-year deal.
Powell, who made his senior debut as a 16 year-old, is believed to have signed for a fee of three million pounds, potentially rising to six million pounds.
