The English Premier League football club Queens Park Rangers has stripped Joey Barton of the captaincy, suspended him and fined him six weeks' wages for disciplinary breaches.
QPR have also warned Barton that he could be shown the door if he doesn't stay out of trouble.
Barton was handed a 12-match ban last month and fined 75,000 pounds after being found guilty of violent conduct in QPR's final match of last season against Manchester City.
