The Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed the secret to scoring the winning penalty, which took the world champions into the final of football's Euro 2012 competition.
Spain beat Portugal 4-2 in a penalty shootout in the first semi final in Poland and will play either Germany or Italy in Monday morning's final.
Fabregas says he spoke to the ball and told it to make history before taking the shot which then ricocheted off the post before going in.
