Olympic champion Usain Bolt has pulled out of this month's Monaco leg of the Diamond League athletics competition due to a mystery problem.

Bolt's coach Glen Mills sited issues arising from Bolt's participation at the Jamaican olympic trials in Kingston last weekend, where he came second in both the 100 and 200 metre races.

Mills wouldn't elaborate on the sprinter's problem, but says Bolt's withdrawal from the Monacco event will give the Olympic champion time for treatment ahead of the London Games, where he's due to defend his 100 and 200 metre titles.
