Robert Karlsson, a former European golf number one, is a late withdrawal from the British Open at Royal Lytham St Annes in Lancashire.
The 42-year-old Swede has suddenly decided his game's not in good enough shape for an Open championship and he's taking a few weeks off.
Karlsson won't be replaced in the Open draw.
