Olympic cyclist well-prepared after Tour de France

The New Zealand' road cyclist, Greg Henderson, says he's come out of the Tour de France feeling physically and mentally prepared for the Olympics.

Henderson, who was part of the Lotto-Belisol team, is competing in the men's road race on Saturday, against many of those riders who have been racing along side him for the past month.

He says he couldn't have asked for a better preparation, with no injury troubles during the Tour, and now it's just a matter of resting his body for the big race in London.

Greg Henderson says he'll spend two days at home in Spain with his family, before flying to London early on Thursday (NZT).

Jack Bauer is the other New Zealander competing in the Olympic road race.
