New Zealand's brightest triathlon medal hope, Andrea Hewitt, has been completing her preparation for the Olympics in France in the hope of keeping her build-up to the race as normal as possible.

While four of her New Zealand team-mates are already in London, Hewitt, the current women's world number one, will arrive in the city just three days before the triathlon which takes place on Saturday week.

She says her build-up has gone well and her confidence is high heading into the Olympics.
