Despite being listed by the PGA tour's official website in the field for the last of golf's major championships, New Zealand's Mark Brown won't be teeing off Friday morning at Kiawah Island in South Carolina.
The secretary of the New Zealand PGA Jim Clelland had been alerted to the matter, and on closer examination he confirmed that the Mark Brown who will be teeing off on Friday, is an American club professional, and there are no New Zealanders in the field.
