The former Black Caps allrounder Scott Styris has signed with the Hobart Hurricanes for the upcoming Twenty20 Cricket Big Bash League in Australia.

The 37 year old Styris, who retired from international cricket last year, last month scored the joint-third fastest century in Twenty20 history for English county side Sussex scoring 100 not out off 37 balls.

Styris joins former England international Owais Shah at Hobart.
