Hindmarsh denies rumours of return

The Parramatta captain Nathan Hindmarsh has scotched rumours he'll delay retirement to play another National Rugby League season under incoming coach Ricky Stuart.

Hindmarsh announced his retirement in March, but the recent departure of coach Stephen Kearney and appointment of Stuart, and two dynamite wins over Melbourne and Brisbane led to speculation he might change his mind.

The 32-year-old has been in strong form over recent weeks, however he's made it clear he has mentally checked out of the game.

Hindmarsh says he's counting down the days and the weeks and while he's happy with the way he's playing, he'll definitely be hanging up his boots at the end of the year.
