The Wellington Phoenix football coach Ricki Herbert is still looking for a foreign striker to fill his last roster spot for the new A-League season, but one of his new signings wants to make his mark up front.

The Solomon Islands striker Benjamin Totori, who starred at the recent Oceania Nations Cup in Honiara, says he's been working on adding some bulk to his frame to prepare himself for the physicality of the A-League.

The Phoenix leave for a pre-season tour of Australia and India today, and Totori says he's looking forward to finding the back of the net.

Meanwhile Ricki Herbert is looking at Leo Bertos to fill a role at right back, a position that is looking a little light for the side.
