The New Zealand golfer Steven Alker, who hasn't made a cut since his tie for 19th at last month's British Open, has started well in his latest event on the American Webb.com Tour.
Alker's 3-under par 68 on the first day of the Midwest Classic in Kansas has him tied for 10th place, three shots from the lead.
