Counties Manukau has thrashed visitors Southland 30-9 in Sunday's final game of the opening round of the New Zealand provincial rugby championship, the ITM cup.
Two tries to Fritz Lee and one apiece for Bundee Aki and Simon Lemalu led Counties to a strong first up victory at Pukekohe.
Baden Kerr notched up 10 points with the boot, while Southland's only points came from Scott Eade's three points.
In the day's other game Waikato beat North Harbour 44-22 in Albany.
