McClaren's formula one driver Jenson Button led from start to finish to win the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps and claim his second race win of the season.

Button's other win came in the season opening in Australia in March.

Second place went to Weber's Red Bull teammate Sebastian Vettel of Germany, with Kimi Raikkonen of Finland in a Lotus completing the podium.

The race got off to a chaotic start with a multi-car pile-up at the first bend.

The pile up led to the elimination of world championship leader Fernando Alonso, former world champion Lewis Hamilton and France's Roman Grosjean from the race.

The crash appeared to have been provoked by Grosjean trying to jump ahead of Hamilton who smashed into the back of the Frenchman's car which then was catapulted onto and over the front of Alonso's Ferrari.
