The Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador, riding his first Grand Tour since returning last month from a two-year doping ban, has won the Tour of Spain for a second time.
Contador said his victory was the culmination of months of hard work, and he dedicated his win to those who stuck by him before and after being stripped of his 2010 Tour de France and 2011 Tour of Italy titles.
Contador was banned after testing positive for clenbuterol in 2010.
