European Ryder Cup selection wins Dutch Open

The Swedish golfer Peter Hanson holed a monster putt on the last green to claim victory at the Dutch Open.

34-year-old Hanson, who's based in Florida, said after his victory his wife had convinced him to complete the final two rounds of the tournament rather than return home to be with their sick son, who's in intensive care.

A member of Europe's Ryder Cup team to play the Americans in three weeks, Hanson edged out the Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal to win his fifth European Tour title.
