Changes to the Wallabies lineup

11:56 am on 11 September 2012

The Wallabies have named a new captain, a new halfback, and a new second row combination for their Rugby Championship match against Argentina on the Gold Coast on Saturday night.

Nathan Sharpe takes over the captaincy after Will Genia suffered a long-term knee injury in their win over South Africa at the weekend.

The 34-year-old has led the Wallabies twice before.

With an injury to Sitaleki Timani, Kane Douglas comes in to partner Sharpe in the second row.

The Melbourne Rebels halfback Nick Phipps replaces Genia at halfback.

In other changes Berrick Barnes moves from second five to fullback to accomodate Pat McCabe, with Kurtley Beale dropping to the bench.
