New Zealand's champion shot putter Valerie Adams has held her London Olympic gold medal for the first time.
Adams was promoted to Olympic champion after the Belarusian Nadzeya Ostapchuk failed a drugs test..
Adams has tweeted that she's seen the Olympic gold medal that was returned by Ostapchuk but she hasn't put it around her neck.
She is now on her way home and will be officially presented with the medal in Auckland tomorrow night.
