The Wellington rugby side has beaten Bay of Plenty 36-26 in Mt Maunganui to stay near the top of the ITM Cup Premiership.
The Lions outscored the home side by three tries to two to improve their record to five wins and two losses, and they join Auckland at the top of the standings.
The Bay now have five losses from seven matches.
