Another bad call by NFL refs

7:14 am on 27 September 2012

The National Football League has upheld the Seattle Seahawks' 14-12 win over the Green Bay Packers despite the officials making a mistake on the game-winning drive.

The NFL is using replacement referees from the lower ranks of college and semi-professional football during a lockout of regular officials caused by a dispute over a new contract.

The NFL says the final call was incorrect, but that it can not be overturned.

The standard of the refereeing has been the main talking point 3 weeks into the season with many calling it a joke.

Yesterday's result means Seattle are 2 and 1 while the Packers fall to 1 and 2.
