Hansen keen to have world's best back in side

The All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says first five Dan Carter's influence on the side's performance cannot be overstated.

The Crusaders number ten is almost certain to start this weekend's Rugby Championship match against Argentina in Buenos Aires after recovering from a calf injury.

Hansen says while understudy Aaron Cruden has enormous potential, Carter is still the best first five in the world, and having Carter on the field makes a huge difference to the All Blacks' chances of success.

The All Blacks team for Sunday's match will be named on Thursday.
