Waikato have edged Tasman 20-19 in an ITM Cup rugby match in Hamilton.
The lead changed multiple times and never extended more than six points but in the end a 45-metre solo try to Save Tokula provided the points that put the homeside ahead for the final time.
Waikato are 5th in the Premiership and Tasman third in the second tier Championship.
