Silver Ferns utility midcourter Grace Rasmussen has been ruled out of the upcoming Australian leg of the Quad Series with an ankle injury, sustained at last week's national championships.
National Accelerant squad member and Otago captain Shannon Francois has been called in as a replacement.
The Silver Ferns depart Auckland on Thursday ahead of their first test against South Africa in Adelaide on Thursday. They also play England as well as the hosts Australia.
