Bin Hammam appeals against ban

FIFA's former presidential candidate and executive committee member Mohamed Bin Hammam has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over his provisional ban from football.

It's the latest episode in a long-running saga for Bin Hammam who challenged Sepp Blatter for the presidency last year before being provisionally suspended by FIFA in late July, only a week after the Court of Arbitration for Sport had overturned his life ban from football.

CAS said FIFA had provided insufficient evidence over allegations that the Qatari had tried to bribe Caribbean officials in the run-up to last year's election.
