Cricket South Africa accepts apology from ECB

Cricket South Africa has accepted an apology from the England and Wales Cricket Board after chief executive David Collier had suggested the South African players had provoked Kevin Pietersen into sending them text messages which is alleged criticised then captain Andrew Strauss and other members of the England setup.

As a result the batsman was dropped by England in August during the home series against the South Africans.

It is only in recent weeks that Pietersen has begun to resolve the matter with the ECB.
