One of the strongest fields in history will lineup in the Caulfield Cup in Melbourne on Saturday.
Thirteen Group One winners are in the field, including two Melbourne Cup winners in Americain and Dunaden, last year's Caulfield Cup winner Southern Speed and the Sydney and Brisbane Cup winners Niwot and Lights of Heaven.
The 2009 Melbourne Cup favourite Alcopop made the field after finishing second to New Zealand horse Ocean Park in the Caulfield Stakes last Saturday.
There are no New Zealand runners in the $3 million race on Saturday.
