The Perth Wildcats are top of Australia's National Basketball League following their 74-65 road win over winless Melbourne.

The Wildcats continued their unbeaten start to the NBL season with guard Kevin Lisch leading the visitors with 16 points alongside centre Matt Knight's 14 points and eight rebounds.

Former New Zealand Breaker Kevin Braswell's 18 points led all scorers for the Tigers, who had their chances but were undone by 25 turnovers, and allowing Perth 15 offensive rebounds.
