New Zealand's Joelle King has won the Macau Open, the sixth world squash title of her career.
King, the top seed and ranked 12th in the world, looked headed for a routine victory over Omneya Abdel Kawy in the final, after winning the first two games with relative ease.
But the eighth-seeded Egyptian fought back superbly to take the next two games and force the match to a deciding fifth before King reasserted herself to squeeze out an 11-5 11-1 9-11 6-11 11-6 victory.
King now heads to Shanghai, where the 24-year-old is the seventh seed at this weekend's China Open.
