Chelsea beaten in Ukraine

Holders Chelsea's eight-match unbeaten run in the Champions League has come to an end, beaten 2-1 by Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine.

The Londoners, with John Terry back as captain after being banned at the weekend and Frank Lampard making his 100th European appearance, were behind after 3 minutes and trailled 2-nil after 52 minutes.

Shakhtar's win took them to the top of Group E with seven points from three games, three points ahead of Chelsea.

Javier Hernandez scored twice as Manchester United came from 2 goals down to beat Portugese side Braga 3-2 at Old Trafford to keep their perfect record in Group H.

Jordi Alba scored with almost the last kick of the match as Barcelona snatched a 2-1 comeback win at home over celtic.
