Higginbotham misses out on tour after scuffle with McCaw

The Australian flanker Scott Higginbotham has been left out of the Wallabies European tour squad after being suspended for two matches following his scuffle with All Blacks captain Richie McCaw in the weekend's Bledisloe Cup draw in Brisbane.

The Wallabies play France, England, Italy and Wales on the four-week tour with the first Test in Paris in three weeks time but coach Robbie Deans has decided to leave Higginbotham behind.

Fellow flanker David Pocock makes his return from from a knee injury, while hooker Stephen Moore and midfielder Berrick Barnes are also back from injury.

Winger Digby Ioane has overcome a knee problem to take his place in the squad.
