Wiggins out of hospital, coach in hospital

Tour de France championBradley Wiggins has been released from hospital following his bike crash while out training.

Wiggins, who also won Olympic gold this year, spent a night in hospital with minor rib injuries and cuts and bruises after being knocked off his bike by a van outside a petrol station while on a training ride near his home in Lancashire.

Meanwhile British Cycling has announced that their head coach Shane Sutton was also knocked off his bike in Manchester and has suffered bleeding on the brain.

He is in hospital.
