The New Zealand swimmers Glenn Snyders and Melissa Ingram have both won silver medals at the FINA World Cup in Singapore.

For the first time in the Asian leg of the series, Snyders had to settle for second in the 100 metres breaststroke after a hard-fought battle with Australian Christian Sprenger.

Ingram also lost to an Australian - she was pipped by Angie Bainbridge in the final of the 400 freestyle.
