Thompson citing to be heard tomorrow night

8:21 am on 13 November 2012

The remainder of Adam Thomson's northern tour with the All Blacks is in the balance following his official citing from yesterday morning's test against Scotland in Edinburgh.

The Otago flanker will appear tomorrow night after being cited for "stamping or trampling" on the head of Scotland's Alasdair Strokosch, for which he was yellow carded in the All Blacks' 51-22 victory at Murrayfield.

Thomson faces a ban which could end his tour.

The All Blacks play Italy in Rome this weekend.
