Speculation about the former Manchester United star David Beckham's potential move to the Australian football League has been dismissed less than 24 hours after it started.
The Football Federation Australia yesterday confirmed it had received an approach by Beckham's management expressing interest in the former England skipper playing in the A-League this season.
But representatives for Beckham soon contradicted the FFA, saying their client is focused on his commitments with US club Los Angeles Galaxy and there are no plans to play in Australia.
