The New Zealand golfers Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson have both qualified for the final stage of qualifying for the US PGA Tour.

Lee, who lost his card when the 22-year-old finished 159th on this year's money list, finished tied for fourth at his second round qualifying tournament in California.

At the same tournament Steven Alker missed out by just one shot.

Meanwhile Manawatu's Tim Wilkinson tied for 11th at an event in Florida to move to the final event.

Tauranga's Josh Geary finished 12 shots out of a place at a tournament in Texas.

The final Q-School is next week in California.
