New Zealand's Campbell Grayson is through to the final of the PSA world squash Boast Open event in Canada.

The second seeded Kiwi has survived a tight four game encounter against Australian Steve Finitsis in the semifinals, beating the fourth seed in 71 minutes.

Trans-Tasman rivalry will be put to the test again when he faces Australian and top seed Zac Alexander who battled to a five game victory over unseeded South African Shaun Le Roux.

The 26-year-old New Zealand national champion is celebrating his eighth Tour final and second this year.

It will be Grayson's fifth Tour clash with Alexander, the Aucklander boasting a 3/1 head to head advantage.
