Hore officially cited in wake of Wales test

6:10 am on 27 November 2012

The All Blacks hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for hitting Wales lock Bradley Davies and a lengthy suspension appears inevitable.

Coach Steve Hansen says they'll do their best in defence of Hore who's been cited for the incident which happened early on in the side's 33-10 win in Cardiff yesterday.

The IRB's general penalty range for such an offence is two to eight weeks but a time and place for the hearing is yet to be decided.

The British media has been quick to label the All Blacks thugs after the incident but Hansen says his players don't deliberately go out to injure opposition players.
