Hansen: ABs lucky to have services of two of game's greats

The All Blacks' near-perfect year has been recognised by their sweep of the major honours at the International Rugby Board's awards dinner in London.

Two days after their shock loss to England, Daniel Carter was named Player of the Year, for the second time, Steve Hansen coach of the year, and the All Blacks team of the year, having lost only one of their 21 tests.

Hansen says they're lucky to have had for so long two of the all time greats in their side, three time player of the year Richie McCaw, and Carter.

He says to have both players in the team at the same time has been a major advantage for the All Blacks.
