Liverpool and Tottenham have qualified for the knockout stage of the Europa League, the second tier European football competition.
Five-time European champions Liverpool beat Udinese 1-0 in Italy in the last match to finish top of the group.
Tottenham finished second in their group after a 3-1 win over Panathinaikos at White Hart Lane.
Newcastle, who had already qualified were beaten 2-0 by French club Bordeaux.
